she is talking about, waiting to hear     someone else

fully academic   and    withholding authority
you   have    lost a   luster

in a controlled field,    a cloud
we take stock of the work and fold

asymmetrical power structure, sure   why not?    but

granted it
       for a limited time,   with grace
